Flow Kinetics applies this principle to market microstructure — measuring how order flow force translates into actual price displacement. When flow produces movement, the auction is in genuine price discovery. When massive flow produces nothing, a larger force is absorbing it. These two conditions demand completely different trading responses.

Flow Synthesis Score

Participation Gate

Monitors real-time market participation levels. When the market lacks sufficient activity for flow signals to be meaningful, this gate automatically adjusts readings to protect signal integrity.

GATE 02

Efficiency Ratio Gate

Evaluates the quality of price movement — distinguishing clean directional trends from noisy chop. Prevents false trend signals during conditions where the market is rotating without making progress.

GATE 03

Multi-Timeframe Alignment Gate

Cross-references the current timeframe's reading against a higher timeframe. When they agree, confidence is amplified. When they conflict, signals are automatically dampened.

GATE 04

Regime Detection Gate

A statistical change-point detector that identifies structural regime shifts earlier than traditional threshold methods. Detects sustained directional shifts that fixed-level indicators miss entirely.

GATE 05

Session Period Gate

Classifies the current time of day and adjusts confidence accordingly. The indicator knows that a reading during the opening drive carries different weight than the same reading at midday.

Convergence Filter

All five gates converge into a single analytical layer displayed on the HUD. Each color state carries distinct implications for signal reliability and execution context — automatically filtering noise from actionable conditions.

Trend Exhaustion

Price is extending to new levels but the flow underneath is weakening. The trend is running on fumes — not new conviction.

Delta Divergence

Price and the underlying flow tell opposite stories. The effort-versus-result relationship has broken down — a warning that the current direction lacks internal support.

Regime Shift

A statistical change-point has been detected. The market's structural regime has changed — reassess your directional bias.
